What’s all this?

A scrapbook: a jumble of personal notes on things that I find interesting, sexy, funny, and/or appalling. There’s no theme here that I know of, but if you find one: go, you. Some stuff may be NSFW. Consider that a warning.

P.S. Several years ago, I migrated my old self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress proper, and some of the images (read: ALL OF THE IMAGES) got lost in the transition. If there’s post with a missing image that you’d really like to see, drop me a line at sturtle [at] gmail [dot] com. I’ll see what I can do.

Published over the weekend: an interview with Ken Foster, one of the most rational, thoughtful, and–above all–talented writers living in New Orleans today. His assessment of Our Fair City comes as close to my own as anyone’s–right down to the dog-philia….
