Did anyone else notice a fairly major absence from the New York Times‘ “Graphical Overview of the 2012 Republican Field”?

Either that’s a major oversight, or somebody at the Times knows something we don’t — which would mean that we’ve got the Exorcist all to ourselves for five more years. Yaaaay.

If he’s rocking it at Guv’nor of Louisiana no one outside the state knows it. He did have a wunderkid reputation going full tilt until he spoke for the GOP after President Obama’s State of the Union last year. His lack of sizzle after the Oil Spill didn’t turn that around too much. Now the pundits are dropping Marco Rubio’s name in the blanks where Jindal’s was once placed. And he just took office last month. Easy come easy go?
