Approx. same time, Burt Reynolds was first nude Cosmo man: no clothes, lots of hair, great tan (but) hand carefully covering dick. Lots of excitement, Burt was the biggest film star in the world! Got to crawl before you can walk: uncovered dick came soon after.

OMG!!! I had such a crush on him when I was a little gay boy growing up in the 70’s. Of course, I had no idea then it was a crush. I just knew I enjoyed looking at him, it gave me a warm feeling and people looked at me odd when I said he was handsome.
